When he was tired, airports and flying were more taxing on him.
He liked crawling in bed and waking up in the next city.
Dad travelled for so long, that he'd be happy to get off the road and come home,
but after a short time, he'd be antsy again.
he said coming home was always more work. he had to deal with business matters,
the phone rang NON-STOP, and after a couple of weeks he'd be ready to go again.
After they retired, he and June made many changes at the house to be able to
keep from getting so restless.
Dad quit answering the phone...he had a private line put into his office just
for us kids and a handful of friends...they went to Jamaica for extended periods
of time..many things to make being home more enjoyable.
